Could Ad.ly Break Social Marketing?

Well okay, not on it’s own it couldn’t, but I mean the concept of Ad.ly. Social marketing works because only a minority (14%) trust printed and online advertisement, whilst the majority (93%) trust recommendations from “friends” – where the term “friend” means someone who you interact with and whose reputation you trust.
